Description: The QA and Safety Engineer is responsible in handling and administrating the company Quality Assurance System of DBUSA, manufacturing safety and compliance. It includes all products quality assurance matters, customer complaints related to products quality and manufacturing safety issues. Key Duties/Responsibilities: - Oversee product quality, safety certification, and the implementation of quality systems, while driving improvements in supplier quality. - Manage quality control and assurance processes across chiller, package, AHU, and electrical assembly lines. - Collaborate with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to refine procedures and enhance overall quality assurance effectiveness. - Establish and track quality improvement initiatives and evaluate supplier performance. - Lead product safety certification inspections to ensure compliance with established standards. - Work towards achieving ISO 9001 certification by developing and maintaining quality management systems. - Work closely with teams to fulfill customer requirements and maintain accurate inspection records. - Serve as the head of the safety committee, supporting OSHA compliance, safety training, and certification efforts. - Supervise and assign tasks within the Quality Control team. - Authorized to place quality holds on non-compliant products, quarantine defective parts, address customer complaints, and exercise delegated authority from the Engineering Manager.
