Job Description We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Refractive Counselor. In this sales-focused role, you will be responsible for educating and guiding patients through the process of selecting the most suitable refractive surgical options to enhance their vision. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in assisting patients to make informed decisions about their eye care journey. Duties & Responsibilities: Report to Refractive Director Engage with patients to understand their vision concerns and preferences. Generate new leads and patients for refractive surgeries (Lasik, ICL, and cataract). Follow-up communication for potential refractive surgery candidates. Work within and/or exceed sales objectives and expectations as set by the organization. Provide comprehensive information about our range of refractive surgery options (lenses and surgical procedures, lasers), highlighting their benefits and potential outcomes. Conduct consultations to assess patients' suitability for various surgical options and recommend personalized treatment plans. Collaborate closely with Clinic and Surgery team members to ensure seamless patient care and coordination. Utilize effective sales techniques to drive conversations and meet or exceed sales targets. Maintain accurate records of patient consultations and follow-up activities. Stay updated on industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations to patients. Support and process other work as assigned. Collaborate with ophthalmologists, optometrists, and other clinical staff to ensure a smooth patient experience Qualifications: Passion for sales and to exceed sales quotas is mandatory. High school diploma or equivalent with at least 4 years of sales experience. Associate degree or certification with at least 2 years of experience in sales. 2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role is a plus. Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field is preferred with at least 1 year of experience. Knowledge of ophthalmology and medical terminology. Knowledge of surgical procedures is a plus! Proficient in the use of electronic medical records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Benefits: Generous monthly benefit package and sales bonuses.
