• Full benefits including 401kJob Details: The Senior Attorney will be responsible for building on the firm's success and expanding their reach to new clients, including investment advisers, broker-dealers, private fund advisers, investment companies, corporations, and individuals. In this role, you will be instrumental in advising on business M&A transitions, contract negotiations, financial industry regulatory compliance, regulatory exams, and providing general corporate strategic advisement.Required:
  • 6+ years of experience in securities and corporate transactional law
  • Admitted to the CA, TX, NY, or FL state bar
  • Transferable book of at least $400,000
  • Strong contract law experience, as well as corporate law, regulatory compliance, and mergers and acquisitions
  • Knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, FINRA Rules, and the Investment Company Act of 1940Preferred:
    • Experience in SEC and FINRA regulatory matters
    • Hedge fund, real estate fund, and private equity fund formation experience
